One of the events that the FOVM (Friends of the Villa Montezuma)  puts together in support of our Villa Montezuma Museum is the Valentine Tea party.

VILLA UPDATES
On November 23, 2009, the City Council/Redevelopment Agency approved to  support  an MOU between
Center City Development Corporation (CCDC) and the City of San Diego  for the restoration of the
 Villa Montezuma.

The City will be contributing 500,000 from its Deferred Maintenance budget  and CCDC is contributing $550,000. The $1,050,000 will be used to address the foundation repair  and fix other Villa structural issues.  City Engineers will be working on prioritizing  and scheduling the repairs.

The FOVM  was a key supporter and facilitator in making this project happen between CCDC and the City to benefit the Villa Montezuma.
