Si usted vive en Sherman Heights y tiene un porche or yarda y lo prestaria para que un artista creara un altar en el haganos saber
Please save the date and join us in SHERMAN HEIGHTS on October
31 st and November 1st to celebrate the 15th Anual Day of the Dead Celebration
Many local families will create traditional Mexican altars inside the Community Center (2258 Island Ave SD 92102). There will be food, folk art and many activities for everyone to enjoy!
Guided tours for the outdoor altars (created in homes around the community) will be on Saturday at 12:30 & 3pm (departing from the Barrio Marketplace on Island between 22nd & 24th) and Sunday at 11:30am and 2:30pm (departing spot will be at the Villa Montezuma on the corner of K St & 20Th). These altars will be created by residents, local artists, interested parties and community organizations. A $3 donation for the guided tours is suggested to the SHNCC (Sherma Heights Neighborhood Cultural Council). There will be information for a FREE self guided tour as well in the community center.

Anote la fecha y acompanenos en Sherman Heights el dia 31 de Ocbubre y el 1ero de Noviembre a celebrar la 15a Celebracion Anual del Dia de los Muertos
Varias familias locales celebraran creando altares dentro del Centro Comunitario (2258 Calle Island en San Diego codigo 92102) Habra comida, artesanias y varias actividades para que todos disfruten de este evento!
Habra caminatas guiadas de los altares creados en casas alrededor de la comunidad el Sabado a las 12:30 y 3:00 de la tarde (el lugar de partida sera Barrio Marketplace en la calle Island entre la 22 y calle 24). El Domingo la caminatas guiadas seran a las 11:00 y a las 2:30 de la tarde (el lugar de partida sera en el Museo Villa Montezuma en la esquina de la calle K y 20). Estos altares seran creados por residentes y artesanos de la comunidad, personas interesadas en este evento y organizationes de la comunidad. Una donacion de $3 es sugerida para estas caminatas guiadas a el grupo Sherman Height Cultural Council. Informacion/mapas para observar los altares GRATIS sera proporcionada en el centro comunitario.
